LIFINIT and National Telecommunications Corporation (NTC) join hands to build Smart Automation & Digitization for the Government of Pakistan


Lifinit is pleased to announce that it has signed up an agreement with National Telecommunications Corporation (NTC) for the provision of a wide scope of solutions and services, including ICT, smart modules, e-government solutions, Internet of Things (IOT), Machine-to-Machine (M2M) technologies. Moreover, this specific settlement will help other allied services to extend to its partners and customers in future.

National Telecommunications Corporation, a statutory corporation with an official mandate established by the Federal Government under the Pakistan Telecommunication (Re-Organization) Act 1996 is duly licensed to operate and maintain a telecommunication network, provide telecommunication & ICT services to Federal Government, Provincial Government, Armed Forces, Defense Projects, or such other Government agencies/Legal subsidiaries is aided and protected by the Federal Law.

Under the arrangement, Lifinit will deliver the following to NTC and its governmental affiliates:

Lifinit will develop, manage and implement smart projects, solutions, modules, e-government solutions, including Internet of Things (IOT) and Machine-to-Machine (M2M) technologies. NTC’s existing and future communications, fixed and wireless networks, systems and data centers will be used for delivering services to clients. NTC and Lifinit will market and sell all end-to-end solutions to NTC mandated markets specified under Telecom Reorganization Act 1996 which include: federal/provincial governments, ministries, divisions/allied departments, cities and cantonment areas. Furthermore, semi-government/government-owned and independent organizations including all utility, transport, railway, road networks, management, education, healthcare, water, power/energy, industrial, agriculture, livestock, banking and online financial sectors are also covered. Stretching out to town and traffic management systems along with other systems having multiple partners or solutions, with one thought in mind, to persist and persevere diligently. Finally implementing on a citywide, in-building, outside, area-wide level a.k.a. citywide smart security solutions۔

We are in an era of digitization; this long-term deal with NTC promises to unveil a host of strategic and multi-dimensional opportunities not only for Lifinit, but also for the government and public sectors at large. The mandate provided by the government will allow Lifinit to explore new horizons in B2G, G2P, P2G and G2G areas. The deal also authorizes Lifinit to access NTC owned towers, metro fiber, and long fiber structures instilling maximum potential and exploiting new domains of value through IOT, M2M, Cloud, ICT, Data Analytics, Co-Locations and Data Centre services in the future.
